This is an absolutely wonderful café to find. It is quite well hidden, and the best way to describe where it is, is by saying that its behind the Colston Hall, up from where the o2 academy is. Once youre on that road, you will not miss its colourful sign; a little frog beckoning you to come inside.
The atmosphere here is so lovely, it is somewhere you could spend your time drinking coffee and having a nice little relax. Speaking of which; the coffees here are excellent, and after conversation with Alex (the owner) I completely sense his passion for great, properly well made coffees. A drink here that is not to be missed, is the hot chocolate. Bog standard chocolate powder mixed with hot milk? No! Not here. Alex makes his own chocolate syrup, from Venezuelan Black 100% cacao. It is truly a rare find!
There is paninis, baguettes, sandwiches, soups and salads on offer, all made to be really fresh and healthy. And after your meal, I would highly suggest having a slice of cake! The beetroot cake was awesome.
This café has only opened a few months back, and it is most definitely worth a visit. A great relaxed spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of the center.”
